At the association’s tour base in the village of Bodrogolaszi, the way was opened for us in the direction of youth tourism with the establishment and certification of commercial accommodation. In this regard, we highlight the Rákóczi Castle Museum in Sárospatak as an attraction and advertise services for 2- or 3-day class trips
(for visiting the castle museum, the MÁV provides a free travel discount for student groups – which is also an important ‘attraction’). The program of the standard two-day tour is as follows: on the first day, arrival at the Sárospatak railway station in the morning, where we collect the luggage and provide a guide for the walk to the castle; afternoon canoe trip to Bodrogolaszi from the pier below the castle; bonfire in the evening. On the morning of the second day, a short nature study session, followed by a bike ride to the Megyer-hegy sea view.
In connection with class trips, the association provides or recommends transportation, cheap accommodation, affordable dining options and optional services. AIn connection with the programs, we welcome interested student groups in the spring and autumn periods, for which – if you are interested – request our offer by sending your request to the following address: info@zoldkor.net
